Snovalley Pride

Non-Profit Organization

With the large number of anti-trans, anti-LGBTQ, and anti-drag bills that have been recently proposed around our country, I wanted to make sure I did everything I could to ensure our LGBTQ+ community here in the Snoqualmie Valley felt safe, protected, and loved.

We are a new non-profit, comprised of local volunteers, who are committed to this mission of creating safe spaces, and hosting events where our queer and allied communities can feel welcome. We have created a business directory with local businesses who agree to put a Snovalley Pride Safe Space sticker on the door to their business. These stickers will let patrons know that they are entering a space where they will be safe and welcome. We are hosting events that include drag shows, guest speakers, fashion shows, trivia nights, and so much more!

I wanted to have some fun when creating the Snovalley Pride logo. I incorporated a unicorn & the Pride rainbow to build recognition of what we stood for.

Our social media will focus on inclusion, diversity, and honoring past members of our community who paved the way for us with the hope of inspiring the youth.

This is the Snovalley Pride “Safe Space” sticker that we are hanging on local businesses committed to being a safe and welcoming space for their patrons.

We designed our website to appeal to as many people as possible. We also wanted to focus on promoting local events, businesses and groups of interest.
